Rupert Glover scored 4/5 and became the winner of the 19th championship! Ben and Conrad also scored same points but their progressive score was lower than Rupert's.
The last event of the year was a fine finish for Ben Murphy, who scored a perfect 5/5. Theo Tanner came clear second with 4/5 points and Isobel Warren finished third by progressive score. Well done all!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all!
For the first time Ben Murphy shared 1st place with Elis Vandyck. Although Elis lost his last game (against Ben), he was ahead by progressive score, so by thus Elis won the tournament but decided to give the gold medal to Ben. A hard but a very kind decision indeed! Rupert Glover won his first bronze medal, note that Rupert has been a regular member of the club for a less than a year.
It was nice to see new faces in the tournament. About 8 children had their first appearance at WLJCC event.
